Donor Spotlight: Patti Shaffner Jordan and Jeremy Jordan
Patti Shaffner Jordan and Jeremy Jordan have been parents at French International since 2015 when their son Jayden enrolled in preschool. When Jayden graduates in 2026, they will have been members of this community for nearly 11 years.
“As I reflect back on the past nine years that we’ve been at the school and how significantly it has shaped our son, family, and community of friends, I feel so blessed to be a part of this incredible community and wanted to do as much as I could to support the school’s strategic plan.”
Patti joined the Board of Trustees in 2017. As a board member, she was instrumental in the development of the current strategic plan and the site plan, which are paving the way for French International’s future success. Upon leaving the board, she took on the role of co-chair of the Campaign Committee and continues to lead as the school embarks on an unprecedented campaign.
“[French International] has shaped who Jayden is, more than just academically––his inquisitiveness, his worldview, and how he treats others,” said Patti. “By the time he leaves French International, he will have spent more time here than he will ever spend at any other school during his lifetime.”
While Jayden will not use the new Maternelle and Lower School, the impact French International has made and the ability to give back is inspiring to the Jordan family.
“This is a community that supports each other, whether it be students, teachers, staff, parents, grandparents, board members, and now this Capital Campaign. Why would I not do as much as I can for something that’s shaped our family these past 10 years?”
Patti and Jeremy made a leadership commitment to the campaign and are working to engage other families in campaign support through the committee.
